MANAGING YOUR TIME (Ruth Okoli)

Time is free precious resources given by God to mankind, is so important that the way you utilise it determine what you'll become in life.
The way you utilise your time as a student will determine if you will have a successful story to tell at the end.
To make the best of your time, u need to observe the following principles:

-->Spend Your Time Judiciously: Always remember that time waits for no one. What you do with time determines how far you will go in life.
A wise student will spend each holiday doing profitable things that will be beneficial to him/her in the future Eg are Attending computer schools, Learning a vocation, Joining an Educational or Social group etc.
On the other hand, an unwise student will spend his/her holiday watching movies, playing games, irrelevant visits to friends, attending parties.
-->Plan for each day : Always remember that God gives us a Day as a Gift. So to be the best you really want to be, you need to plan for each day. You are advised to do this early before engaging yourself in other activities because doing this will help to guide you in whatever you spend your time with, instead of just roaming about and doing things that are not profitable, you will spend your time trying to achieve those things that you have planned to achieve each day. Do not forget to SET YOUR PIRORITIES RIGHT.
-->Allocate adequate time for academic works, domestic chores, church activities, personal spiritual development, moderate rest and exercise.
-->Also embrace punctuality, eschew idleness and evaluate yourself daily. Evaluating yourself daily helps you to put in more effort into what you are doing.
-->Finally, you need to acquaint  yourself with God and ask him to teach you how to number your days so that you can apply your heart to wisdom.
Note:If you start to do the right thing, you are already a success even if it doesn't show yet.
