Poem: Self discipline

The youth empowerment programs are increasing,
and our economy they say, is improving.
Yet, poverty in the nation is day by day increasing.
so i ask "what is happening?", "what is happening?".
The mature men wanting to be like folks they see on tv,
and the youths like the richest celebrity.
Therefore we jump into football, music, dancing, modelling etc.,
cause these are what the richest"made it" we see invited to functions and parties are doing.
Parties we go to wearing what is in vogue instead of been concerned and committed  to what in the future raises our ego.
And often when we enter into this unqualified field,
we jump out because at first we were never ready.
The question is why would we be ready? After we dropped out of school and entered into an industry with no knowledge, like a man on an electric pole with no tool or idea of which wire is of positive or negative use.
And you fail, a-and you day they were lucky,
yes! How Lucy they are! Yes!! How lucky they are!!
That they were devoted to rehearsals, learning, making researches, studying. . .
That same moment you were on game, partying, flirting, or sleeping.
That they were persistently  working,
that same moment you were making researches,
yea making researches on new excuses.
Well we've got no blame, when we entered because we felt it was easy and that kinda life suits us.
Even when deep down in our hearts, we know its not the passion we've got.
Now, you a potential doctor, have joined the engineers because friends are there.
Or, a potential engineer opt for dancing, because they once liked your dance step,
and suddenly that question is"what is happening" comes in.
I would tell you this.
Time is so disciplined, that it know its job. It never waits, and with no excuses it does its job.
You then need equal amount of sel-discipline to break through it.Does
So i choose my goal unceasingly,
for you to have some sense of relief,
you need to be self disciplined.
